I just noticed that my YouTube videos are not working anymore. Must have broken with my last WordPress upgrade. I’ll have to take a look at it later…

One I just looked at worked. I doubt it has anything to do with WordPress – the youtube video is just html – no functions are involved.

Hi oh sweet brother in law of mine….

I thought this would be the best way to get your attention. Don’t forget to do up a CD for me like you promised…. I will call everyday to remind you.

Wish you were still home (actually, not really – I am just being nice… I do wish Donna and Garrett were even if it meant you having to come down with them)… Okay, I kinda misses you too okay…..

Can’t wait for your next visit.

    Love to you all,

    Baby Sis, Connie

P.S. The site is looking great!!!

Hey Steve! Met you at Shelly’s one night when you dropped in to see her and decided to interrupt our feed of Scampers!! BTW …. we’re still waiting for that bottle of red wine! Anyways, don’t know if you and your lovely wife (how she puts up with ya is beyond me) remember what I said I would do when I met a certain someone but I did it. Ask Shelly, she’ll verify it!!

Great to meet both of you and hopefully I’ll see you again some time soon.

    August 17, 2007 at 1:40 pm

A nice Shiraz would be fine ….. and none of that cheap stuff either, I’m a man with extremely high standards when it comes to red wine and women!

  26. Steve

    August 17, 2007 at 2:30 pm

So… every now and then you relax your standards, pick up a feed at Scampers, and find someone to eat it with? icon_lol

  27. Craig

    August 17, 2007 at 2:35 pm

I never said anything about the standards of the food I eat …… just the wine and women and unless you want a beating from the woman I was so blessed to have sharing the meal with me I suggest you agree with me!!

  31. Craig

    August 17, 2007 at 3:14 pm

If she decides to pick up for ya I’m outta there. There’s still a bit of Shea Heights left in her and I’m not prepared to take my chances …. brown belt or not!! icon_biggrin

Hey Steve: I don’t know if you got my last comment, but I am going to try again. I really enjoy your website, you are quite a talented man. Do you think that maybe Donna is your incentive to your talents…since you seem to be quite successful at everything, and you know the saying ‘behind every successful man is a woman’…got to be true…look at Ron…lol

So …… I’m an asshole hey??? At least I follow through on what I say I’m gonna do unlike some people!! Still waiting for that bottle of red wine … maybe I’ll have it for my 45 B’day …. it’s only 3 months away! At least it will be aged!! As for your snowclone here’s one for ya ….
“Where’s the x? Beef ….but in my case refer to comment above!!

  40. Steve

    August 22, 2007 at 12:17 pm

Well… You need to get the full context, not just the single word. “Asshole” in and of itself could mean so many things, depending on the motivation and tone of the speaker and sensitivity and sense of humour of the audience.

What I said was something like, “Thank Craig for his comments… the blog needs something to liven it up. And he’s the perfect asshole to do it.”

I meant it in a totally complimentary way, asshole to asshole. … and I’m sure my darling sis ensured you took it that way! icon_smile

That bottle of wine… Hmmmm… if I’d been invited to dinner, maybe I would have brought one! But you insisted that we leave! ;-)

I have a bottle of red whine (Freudian slip) that I got in Poland. I’ll bring it home next time we come down. It will be well aged…

Deb… I need inspiration to do a post. I can put something up regarding the vacation…. I’m letting the creative juices brew…

  42. Shelly

    August 22, 2007 at 12:51 pm

of course I said it in context Steve…. I said… Craig – Steve said you are an asshole! : )

  43. Craig

    August 22, 2007 at 2:56 pm

Yup ….that’s just how she said it!!! BTW ….. according to Wikipedia here is the definition etc.

Asshole (or arsehole outside of North America) is a slang term for the anus or an unpleasant person. It is also an abusive term for a person.

The word is mainly used as a profanity towards someone the speaker does not like or whose behavior is hurtful, self-centered, or particularly abrasive. Usually, the term is directed at a male (in female anatomy, the focus is deflected to the nearby genitals, the vagina). It may also sometimes be used to describe people who are viewed as stupid or useless or even meaningless, similar to jerk.

One asshole to another that pretty well puts us in that category!! icon_biggrin

    RE: Debbie’s message:

You still never wrote anything on how much fun you had on your vacation. Donna really enjoyed her trip home, especially the first month…. I am not really sure if it had something to do with the fact that you were still in Moncton during that time, but she was always happy and smiling… Go figure… Your blog is great… but sometimes I feel like you are definitely losing that grip on reality….

  45. Steve

    August 29, 2007 at 11:16 am

What is this “reality” of which you speak?

The vacation thing… how can words describe the utter jubilation I experienced when you greeted me at the door in your bathrobe, opened just enough to prevent me from looking you in the eye? Hmmm? I’m not sure I have the literary gumption to put that into words. So, I won’t. icon_lol

Okay Steve…I write comments and they don’t show up on your listing…what am I doing wrong??? I am hooked on your website…it is a daily ritual for me to go in and check what’s new for the day. Boy, do I ever enjoy reading your material. If you are looking for inspiration, look to your wife…isn’t she inspiration enough for you to write something…lol

Deb, it’s no different than how you commented here on the guest book.

Thanks for the compliments. You are right, and as you know from reading my blog, my wife does inspire a lot of my posts not to mention the faces that appear in the upper left corner!

I just want to thank you Steve for letting all your wonderful readers know that I flashed you (just a little) when I saw you this summer past. For those of you who don’t know me, it was a complete accident and Steve was quite the gentleman… I know that is difficult to believe, and you can imagine my shock, but I’ll give him credit, he was… He said “Connie, when you greet me from now on could you please cover up a little cause it is really difficult to look you in the face and say “hi”….” No more to it than that – he didn’t even embarrass me. I just simply closed up and continued with my warm greeting to him… Now, some people might think that some of us would do just about anything to catch a man like Steve, but not me – no way…. I always try to maintain some sort of control when around this very hot, muscular, sexy beast…. Okay, for anyone who don’t know Steve, that isn’t exactly the truth, but he thinks it is so we just go with it….

Wow Steve…. I heard the clip from Guy… Pretty impressive stuff… Now don’t you feel really special knowing that you are probably one of the biggest smartasses (out of several hundred) that made him laugh…
