I’m certain I’m not the only one who does this. In fact, I actually usually take the second package in regardless of what it is. Clothes, cans of soup, boxes of cereal, deodorant… it doesn’t matter. The front item has a greater chance of having been manhandled, dropped, sniffed, crushed, or simply pushed forward for newer, fresher stock to be placed behind it.
It only makes sense!

Too funny, as I too, do this especially when it comes to buying bread, eggs, or anything fresh like fish meat etc…
