Several months ago, Wayne over at Table Mountains posted this video created by a gentleman named Viktor Gažo who visited our fine province in the summer of 2007. The video is 38 minutes long, but certainly well worth the time. He did a wonderful job documenting many of the beautiful and historic sites that our island has to offer visitors and residents alike. In fact, I learned a lot about my home province by watching.
It’s March 31st today. On this date in 1949 Newfoundland and Labrador became the 10th province of Canada. To honour the 61st anniversary of this event, get yourself a glass of coke, pour an ounce of rum in it, kick back and enjoy the show. You won’t regret it.
You can find a higher definition version of the video here.

Fantastic. I didn’t pour a rum but myself and Craig did enjoy a Coors Light each and mapped out our summer rides on the bikes. Thanks! xoxo

Absolutely AWESOME video!!!!Shelly and I just decided on our vacation ……. the only problem is whether we are going on our bikes on our way to see a couple of a**holes in Moncton or if we take the kids and see those unsavoury brothers of hers later in the year, either way make sure you have some red wine a Coors available.
