I feel like I have been keeping a deep dark secret for many years. It’s time that I get this off my chest.
I’m a proud Newfoundlander, on this earth for 40+ years, and I’ve never made tea buns.
Until yesterday!
Thanks to my grandmother’s recipe that Mom shared with me a couple of weeks ago I made my first batch of good ol’ Newfoundland raisin tea buns. The were deeeeelishus!

Driving home from visiting our friends last night, we saw a deer, a porcupine, and two beavers. The deer was in the ditch in the exact same spot we’ve seen deer the last three times we went out there. The porcupine was walking on the road on the other lane. The pair of beavers were attached the two young ladies that decided to moon us.
I’m pretty sure they were brunettes.

My friend Cindy sent these videos to me recently. They are said to have been taken recently in Haiti as part of the rebuild efforts down there since the earthquakes. Regardless, they are all pretty impressive. I especially like the last one.
