The dude who is too cool for words turns 19 today!

You’ve grown into quite a fine young man and your mother and I couldn’t be prouder.

Happy Birthday, Garrett!  Hope it’s a great day for you!

The Human Body

May 25 2010
  • It takes your food seven seconds to get from your mouth to your stomach.
  • One human hair can support 3kg (6.6 lb).
  • The average man’s private area is three times the length of his thumb.
  • Human thighbones are stronger than concrete.
  • A woman’s heart beats faster than a man’s.
  • There are about one trillion bacteria on each of your feet.
  • Women blink twice as often as men.
  • The average person’s skin weighs twice as much as the brain.
  • Your body uses 300 muscles to balance itself when you are standing still.
  • If saliva cannot dissolve something, you cannot taste it.
  • Women reading this will be finished now.
  • Men are still busy checking their thumbs.

(Thanks Cindy!)

Quad Run – St. Paul

May 12 2010

There are many reasons why I like riding the trails on my four-wheeler… the fresh air, feeling of adventure, time with friends, the challenge, being in nature.  But sometimes you come across a spot that is just too beautiful for words.

This video is taken alongside a river in St. Paul, New Brunswick, where I went for a ride with my buddy Dave.  Neither of us knew the trails in the area, but we roamed to wherever our handlebars pointed us.  We discovered a couple of really nice trails…

River in St. Paul. Beautiful.
