Chicken Chow Mein – Righteous!

Mar 31 2008

Several months ago, my neighbour was nice enough to treat us to a feed of his home-made Chow Mein. He is a good cook and an even better friend. We liked it so much, he agreed to come over and show us how to make it. Well, we borrowed his wok so often to make it, he and his wife gave us a wok for Christmas!

I made some tonight and decided to document the process for your reading, cooking and eating pleasure. Click the graphic below to see pictures of the process and my attempt at describing what I do. Keep clicking to see the next step until you see all the steps.

Let me know if you try it… and let me know if you like it!

(Thanks Rennie and Lorraine!)

Gee, thanks Lorraine. The email was nice. Now that you guys have given us a second wok, I have to learn another recipe! Tell Rennie to prepare the lesson!

The slideshow is broken… what you are seeing now is an evening with friends and not the procedure to cook chow mein… I’m gonna have to fix that…
