Good day folks! Today is Monday February 5. No special day, really. But yesterday… well that’s a different st
ory! Yesterday was my wife’s birthday. I didn’t get at my computer to make the post, so that’s why the birthday wish is late. I could have changed the timestamp on it so it looked like it happened yesterday, but that would be not exactly the truth, would it?
Speaking of segues, my wife is just a little bit older than I am. By “just a little bit” I mean several years. By “several years” I mean I’d better shut up before I get pushed down a flight of stairs. Anyway, she likes folks to believe the I’m older than she is… So, when someone asks her how old she is, she will say “I turned 35 on my birthday.” Then, when that person asks how old her husband is, she’ll say, “He will be 40 on his birthday.” Both statements are true. She did turn 35 on her birthday, and I will turn 40 on mine. We are not saying which years, nor are we saying how many years apart they are.
Clever, eh? Like they say, there’s no sense getting older if you can’t get cuter!
