Candy from a baby…

Witless Bay, Newfoundland.Texas Holdem Competition

Take a look at these guys and I know you are saying “the name’s about right.” How could they have known, way back when they were naming this place? Impressive really.

It’s a sin, you know… but my sweet mother-in-law and myself took 400 bucks from these high rollers in the Annual Gully Pond Asylum $50 Texas Hold’em Open Competition. I almost feel guilty. Almost.

Well, hats off (or on) to Fox, Jim, and Mel for having the cahunas to pose for this picture. Your legacy will be forever remembered on the world wide web.

Better luck next year, guys.

OUCH!!! Little old lady won’t be happy when she hears what you called her. I’d say you are down a few notches on her favorites… Good luck explaining that to my mother. Ooooh, you are gonna be blasted - I just love it… Now, I look better than ever.

Hey… I don’t know what you are talking about, Donna… but the post I’m looking at says “sweet mother-in-law” and not “little old lady”. (At least now it does!)

Who are these guys?????, Glad I missed that picture. Bet it makes it into next years Gully Pond Calendar. As for winning we thought it nice to be kind to the foreigner. obviously you didn’t want to leave any of you winnings in Newfoundland, you tried to drive across without buying gas, smart move on your part. Anyway, that’s a nice deck these guys are standing on, know anyone capable of building me one like that.

    Well, HELLO Lois!

Glad to see someone is reading along! You’ll notice in the picture that even the dog was trying to out of the way. She didn’t want people to think she knew them!

Drop by Howley, NF sometime… you’ll enjoy it!
